Lillian Lu is a doctoral student in the English Department whose research examines the oft-gendered and racialized category of innocence in 18th– and 19th-century British literature. This year, she serves as co-coordinator of the 18th-century/Romantics Working Group. She received a B.A. in English with a minor in Film Studies from Tufts University in 2015.
